In this class, we will learn the
Biblical way to handle conflict in your personal life,
workplace, and Church. We will learn that conflict is an
opportunity, not an accident, providing us an opportunity to
glorify God, serve other people, and grow to be more like
Christ. We will see that success in God's eyes is not a
matter of specific results, but of faithful, dependent
obedience.

Parenting on Purpose
In addition to teaching
Biblical truths on parenting, this class will describe 7 different
Parenting Plans and advice gleaned from 17 authors, most of whom are
recognized Christians. Dr. W. Ladd, a Cowden Distinguished Professor of
Family & Human Development at ASU will lead several sessions. He has
previously worked as a child psychologist & has published books,
studies, articles & reviews on children’s development. He & his wife,
Dr. Becky Ladd, have worked with Christian mission teams providing
teacher & parent workshops in Africa.
Grandparents, it’s never
too late to help your children train your grandchildren with know-how we
didn’t have available when we were trying to do the job.

In Colossians, we will
learn about the complete adequacy of Christ in our daily lives – what
Christ has done and what Christians should do. It clearly teaches that
Christ has paid for sin, that Christ has reconciled us to God, and that
Christ gives us the pattern and the power to grow spiritually. Because
Christ is the exact likeness of God, when we learn what he is like, we
see what we need to become.
